(Philadelphia, PA) Printing Impressions magazine, producer of the annual Gold Ink Awards, announced that Prestone Press, LLC has won a Silver Award for the entry, titled Prestone Jet Varnish Capabilities Brochure in the Digital Print category.
The Prestone Jet Varnish Capabilities Brochure illustrates the many ways that spot uv varnish can be utilized for dramatic effect on color images. Each brochure contains a set of colorful die cut cards digitally printed on one of our three HP Indigo presses and then digitally laminated on our MGI Jet Varnish press. Digital spot uv is an impactful way to make our customers’ mailing and promotional pieces stand out without adding enormous expense.
Nearly a thousand Gold Ink entries were submitted from around the world this year! Within each category, a gold, silver, and bronze were awarded. Pieces were judged by graphic artists, production managers and print buyers.

Winning entries will be featured in the September 2016 edition of Printing Impressions, and will be added to the Printing Impressions website, and the Gold Ink website. Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners in each category will receive a plaque, while Pewter winners will receive a certificate that symbolizes printing success.
